#2 SECULAR EXCHANGE OF RINGS
Groom , have you a token of your love for Bride?   Bride, have you a token of your love for Groom ? Traditionally, the passage to the status of husband and wife is marked by the exchange of rings. These rings are a symbol of the unbroken circle of love. Love freely given has no beginning and no end. Love freely given has no giver and no receiver - for each is the giver and each is the receiver. May these rings remind you always of the vows you have taken here today.  Groom place this ring on her finger and repeat after me:  This ring, a gift for you, symbolizes my desire that you be my wife from this day forward. Bride Place this ring on his finger and repeat after me:  This ring, a gift for you, symbolizes my desire that you be my husband from this day forward.  Let these rings serve not as locks binding you together, but as keys, unlocking the secrets of your hearts for each other to know, and thus bringing you closer together forever.

#3 SECULAR EXCHANGE OF RINGS
What do you give to each other as a symbol of this pledge? Both answer: Rings.  Groom, place the ring on Bride’s finger and repeat after me: I give you this ring, and I welcome you into my life as the companion of my days.
Bride, place the ring on Groom’s finger and repeat after me: I give you this ring, and I welcome you into my life as the companion of my days.

#4 SECULAR EXCHANGE OF RINGS
Will you now give and receive a ring? Bride and Groom:  We will. This circlet of precious metal is justly regarded as a fitting emblem of the purity and resilience of the Marriage State. The ancients were reminded by the circle of eternity, as it is so fashioned to have neither beginning nor end; while gold is so everlasting that it cannot be tarnished by use or time. So may the union, at this time solemnized, be everlasting in its purity and more lasting that time itself.
Officiant hands the ring to the Groom, who places it on the Bride’s finger: Wear this ring forever, Bride, as a symbol of love and peace and of all that is unending.
Officiant hands the ring to the Bride, who places it on the Groom’s finger: Wear this ring forever, Groom, as a symbol of love and peace and of all that is unending.

#5 SECULAR EXCHANGE OF RINGS
Groom, place the ring on Bride’s finger and repeat after me:

Bride, place the ring on Groom’s finger and repeat after me: I have for you a golden ring. It is made of precious metal, which symbolizes that I value your love above all else. The ring goes endlessly on, just as our love will endure forever. I place it on your finger as a symbol of the vows which have made us husband and wife.

#15 SECULAR EXCHANGE OF RINGS
Marriage is a state in which two people come together and create a union that is greater than the mere sum of two individuals. It is difficult to express in words the profound relationship that is love. What emblems do you have of your love and regard for one another? [Rings are handed to officiant.] From time immemorial, the circlet of metal has been an emblem of the sincerity and permanence of a couple's love and regard for one another and their union. As the precious metal turns again upon itself, so does a good marriage turn upon itself for its refreshment and renewal. Take these rings and exchange them in the spirit of love.  Groom and Bride together, repeat after me: I give you this ring as token that I shall love you, in all times, in all places, and in all ways, forever.

# 16  SPIRITUAL EXCHANGE OF RINGS  Groom, place the ring on Bride’s finger and repeat after me:  With this ring, I thee wed. I accept thee as my wife, I endow thee with all my worldly goods, I acknowledge thee as my life partner. Thou art my beloved.

The circle is the symbol of the sun, earth, and universe. It is the symbol of peace. Let this ring be the symbol of unity and peace in which your two lives are joined in one unbroken circle. Wherever you go, return unto one another and to your togetherness.
Groom, place the ring on Bride’s finger and repeat after me:  I give you this ring to wear upon your hand as a symbol of our unity in steadfast love.
Bride, place the ring on Groom’s finger and repeat after me:

# 18  SPIRITUAL EXCHANGE OF RINGS
You have determined that you would seal your vows today by the exchanging of rings. The rings you give and receive this day are marvelous symbols of endless love. The rings are made of gold, a symbol of purity. May your thoughts towards one another be pure. The ring is an unbroken circle, having no end, so it is emblematic of the enduring and unending love you have for each other.
Groom, place the ring on Bride’s finger and repeat after me:  I give this ring in remembrance of this hour, a symbol of love that is beautiful, endless and complete.
Bride, place the ring on Groom’s finger and repeat after me:   I give this ring in remembrance of this hour, a symbol of love that is beautiful, endless and complete.

The vows we've made are invisible; the love we feel is invisible, too.
Bride: Our marriage is a joining of two spirits, a merging of our innermost souls.
Groom: Bride and I desire to have a visible, material sign of these inward and spiritual ties. We've chosen rings as the symbols we wish to wear.
Bride: When we give and receive these rings, we signify the giving and receiving of love. (They exchange rings.) Groom: Each day, as I wear this ring, I will renew the vows I've made. Bride: Each day, as I wear this ring, I will renew the vows I've made.

#21 CHRISTIAN EXCHANGE OF RINGS
Bless, O Lord, this ring, to be a sign of the vows by which this man and this woman have bound themselves to each other; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Creator, Savior, Loving Spirit, bless this couple who have committed themselves to each other in marriage and have come seeking your blessing. Surrounded by their families and friends, may they feel encircled by your love as well as theirs. Assure them of your presence in days of joy like this one and in days of sorrow, pain, and bereavement. Strengthen their relationship through all the tests of adversity and brighten it with a generous measure of happiness.  Help them make their home a place where they love children and welcome friends. Spare them from interference by those who, through wanting to help, may intrude in what are the proper responsibilities of husband and wife, father and mother, and children. Make them good neighbors, doing for others what they would have others do for them. Teach us all to love each other as we love ourselves.  The Groom says: I offer you this ring to wear as a symbol of our unity. The Bride says: I offer you this ring to wear as a symbol of our unity.
